Sounds great – but didn’t you just have a holiday?
I’m only jealous.
I’ve never been sea fishing, but after reading Chris Yates’ “On Fishing At Sea” would love a go at bass fishing off the rocks.
In October I’m due to break my sea fishing duck with my brother and various other loonies who have hired a boat & skipper. I was looking forward to it till I watched Jaws last week.

Hi Mart,
Thanks for your message. Somehow we managed to survive the rain but it did dampen our spirits a bit, we couldn’t do any star gazing, camp fires or alfresco eating so the whole point of the camping trip was a bit of a wash out. Also the romantic notion of taking a 1965 VW Campervan came with its own set of ups and downs…
Glad to hear you are a cane enthusiast, am awaiting delivery of a Chapman 550 I purchased from a chap in Manchester. Well home and dry now and planning the next fishing trip, hopefully under blue skies. All the best
